An explorer adventures into an unknown world, yet it seems that he has been there before.
A short animated film directed by Malcolm Sutherland in 2010. With music by Alison Melville and Ben Grossman, and foley by Leon Lo. Sound design / mix by Malcolm Sutherland.

The animation is all hand-drawn; a mix of drawing on paper and digital animation with Toonboom Studio and a wacom cintiq tablet, assembled in After Effects 7 and edited in Sony Vegas 8.

Synopsis: A guy is traveling in a late night Mumbai local train. The bogie is empty except for a few sleepy passengers. A man with a briefcase boards the train at a station and decides to sit directly in front of him…

THE NEW SMART BRABUS WAS PRESENTED IN GUANGZHOU. STANLEY HUANGH THE FAMOUS TAIWANESE POPSTAR PERFORMED HIS SONG IN FRONT OF this VIDEO INSTALLATION.

This is the directors-cut, mainly the compositing is a bit diffrent to original version coz the onstage screens have higher contrast as normal ones.

Silent Transitions is a personal project inspired by two verses from Scripture – 2 Samuel 22vs20 and Psalm 46vs10.

Shot at 60 fps and slowed down to 1% using twixtor – not perfect as always but it works
